A Rust server that only runs
while you play.
Wakes when a friend connects, sleeps when the last one leaves. You pay for the hours you played.
01
Wake on connect
Your friends join it from their favourites like any server, whether you are online or not. Connecting is the switch. No dashboard, no bot, no waiting for a boot. The first player to connect wakes it, and nobody has to know who.
02
Persistent world
Sleep pauses the whole world. Bases, loot, blueprints and tool cupboards pick up exactly where they stopped, after an hour or after a week. The world clock too: in every test we have run, including a world left asleep overnight, everything was untouched when the group came back.
03
Pay only while you play
You pay for the hours the server is awake and for what it actually used in them, never more than a fixed monthly maximum. It takes what it needs while you play instead of a size you guessed in advance. A small base amount keeps your world, backups and address reserved between sessions.
How it works
Arcadyo runs your private Rust server so it only costs money while someone is playing it. When the last player leaves, the world is saved and the server goes to sleep. When someone connects — using the same address as always — it wakes on its own and the world picks up exactly where it stopped. You are billed only for the hours it was actually awake, up to a fixed monthly maximum.
When the last player leaves
The server notices the moment player count reaches zero. It saves the world, then goes to sleep. This is not a shutdown you'd notice as an admin — it is a save, the same kind that happens automatically anyway, just followed by rest instead of an idle server burning money.
Resources follow the players, not a plan.
A fixed plan gives your server the same processor and memory at 3 a.m. with nobody on as at 10 p.m. with eight of you fighting over a monument, and bills you for all of it. Arcadyo gives the server what the players on it need at that moment, and nothing while it sleeps.
- CPUGrows with the players online, shrinks when they leave.
- RAMSized to the world and the people in it right now, not to a plan you picked in advance.
- DISKYour world and backups are kept the whole time, awake or asleep.

RYZEN 9 9950X · NVMe · EU
Built for how Rust actually runs.
We use the fastest hardware Rust can use, so your raids do not stutter and your base loads the moment you arrive. Fast single cores and NVMe storage.
Three numbers, no surprises.
You pay for the memory the server holds, by the hour, only while it is awake. A private world holds about 6 to 8 GB, so an evening of four hours costs around 25 to 30 cents. The base keeps your world, backups and address between sessions and is waived in any month you play for more than that. The maximum is the most a month can ever cost, however much you play. Prices are what you pay, no VAT is added (art. 293 B CGI); approximate until launch.
What would your group pay?
Approximate. The real meter counts the memory actually held, minute by minute, while the server is awake.
The questions you already have
Is my base safe while it sleeps?
Yes. Sleeping pauses the world and keeps it, and backups continue. A world that slept a whole night came back with everything in place in our tests.
Can my friends join when I am offline?
Yes. Anyone who has the address wakes the server by connecting. You never have to be there or press anything.
How long does waking take?
The server is up before your game finishes loading the map. You see a normal loading screen, not a "server offline" message.
Mods, wipes, anti-cheat?
Oxide on request during the beta: ask and we install it for your server. We never wipe your world on our own, and we wipe it whenever you ask. Anti-cheat stays on, like on any official server.
Backups?
Every sleep saves the world first. We keep the last 7 daily saves and 4 weekly ones, and you can ask for any of them back.
What about Minecraft?
Minecraft servers are coming next, built on the same idea: asleep when nobody plays, awake when someone connects. The private beta is Rust only today, so we can not promise a date yet.
Where is it hosted?
In the European Union.
